A solid mahogany body and neck are complemented by two Lollar Soapbar P90 pickups for a tone that shows off the amazing harmonic range and dynamics of this often underrated configuration. The only difference between the 290 and 290 S are that the “S” version features a single bridge pickup with one volume and one tone knob, along with no pickup selector switch. They otherwise share the same body size, shape, scale length, electronics, and standard appointments."
