This stripped down Depression era L-00, made by Gibson but branded under the Carson Robison name and sold through Montgomery Ward, delivers up exactly what you'd hope for from a guitar like this: light and airy, woody and focused, and a whole lot of fun to play. It features a Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides with a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and bridge. Past work includes a neck reset, refret, bridge reglue, new nut and saddle, and replaced tuners. The braces on top have been chiseled and re-glued, and two top cracks and one back crack have all been cleated. A K&K pickup has been added, and it comes in a Taylor hard case.
