Breedlove calls the Legacy Concerto "an enigma," which may sound like a bit of nebulous marketing terminology but we find to be quite accurate! It's a larger bodied guitar that measures 16" wide across the lower bout with a modest 4" depth and tight waist, so it combines the volume and presence of a dreadnought with the focus and sparkle of a mid-sized one. Adirondack spruce's dynamic range and clarity marries beautifully with koa's brightness. With that combo it'll be no surprise that the high end and mids of this guitar are beautiful, but the bass is rich and full, too, resulting in an overall excellent balance and rich sustain. It responds quickly and easily to the lighter touch of fingerstyle, but is also robust and powerful under a flatpick. A Celtic-inspired MOP rosette is matched with MOP purfling and fret markers. The condition of this Legacy Concerto is excellent, and it has an L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup already installed and comes in its original hardshell case.
