Baranik 00 2021, Flamed European Maple & European Spruce

California-based luthier Mike Baranik is well-loved for his space-chic electric guitars, an aesthetic he applied to this delightful maple 00. The appeal doesn't end with the visual aesthetics, though. The combination of European spruce with that lovely flamed maple is an excellent choice for this small-bodied 00. Maple's brightness is balanced out by the spruce's clear, well-balanced tone. For fingerstyle, there's all the clarity and note separation you could want, but there's plenty of headroom for strumming with a flatpick, too. There's also a soundport, which not only gives the player better ability to monitor the notes they pick, but also boosts overall volume.
