Tennessee-based John Arnold keeps a low profile on the internet, but guitar enthusiasts and professional musicians know him well for his incredible guitar-building talent. You'll have seen his guitars in the hands of people like Doc Watson and Ed King, to name a couple, and for good reason. They are, simply put, perfectly crafted Golden Era-inspired guitars that deliver that elusive pre-war tone in a modern package. The D-29 was modeled after Arnold's own 1937 D-28. The guitar has seen two repaired cracks on the top, a bridge reset, and a neck set. There is some overspray on the front and back. Guitar is well worn, but most importantly, plays and sounds fantastic. Comes with a heavy duty Gator guitar case.
