Description

The Ampeg Fliptop is the definitive all-in-one bass amp for studio work and lower-wattage live use. As the name suggests, this B-18N model is equipped with a larger 18" speaker, along with the output power increased to 50 watts. Compared to the 35-watt B-15N, this amp offers noticeably more headroom and a deeper low-end response thanks to the larger speaker and expanded sonic footprint.

Internally, the amp remains completely stock, including the 2-prong power cord. The original 18" Cleveland speaker is still on its original cone, which has held up well over the years, though it does exhibit some natural speaker compression compared to modern woofers. Also, the original built-in speaker cable has been reinforced with heat shrink, to help secure the wiring. This example is in very good condition, showing only minor signs of previous wear.
