Since its inception, Carter Vintage Guitars has had the privilege of welcoming some of the most admired musicians on the planet to our showroom and our YouTube channel. We’re inspired daily by the performers, producers, and artists who walk through our doors — and we’re in awe of the records that the instruments we’ve sourced have gone on to shape.
Something to Celebrate
The music that defines this city is what drives all of us here at Carter Vintage. So when Spencer Handley, CEO of Sonora, approached us to collaborate on a new kind of channel — one that would focus on creativity, mentorship, and inspiration — we jumped at the opportunity.
We’re proud to introduce PlayBack — a new channel we’re launching in partnership with our friends at Sonora, right here in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee.
What began as a shared love for vintage instruments and timeless music quickly became something more meaningful: a platform dedicated to the stories behind the songs, the techniques behind the tones, and the personal journeys that shape the artists we admire.
PlayBack is about connection — to music, to makers, and to the creative process that defines both. Each week, we’ll bring you intimate, in-depth conversations and sessions with legendary guitarists, celebrated songwriters, influential producers, and trusted mentors. These aren’t just interviews.
