Standard Series Martin D-28s typically feature the straight bracing that became common in the post-war years, but with the HD-28s, Martin brought scalloped bracing back to their contemporary guitars. This Custom Shop HD-28 also features a Sitka spruce top paired with Indian rosewood, making it a wonderfully balanced guitar! It's a fabulous sounding rosewood dread, with a powerful woody bass and singing highs, and the neck shape is more on the C range for folks who prefer the rounder profile. This example has some finish checking on the center seam of the top and a few light marks here and there, but otherwise it's in fantastic shape!
