The Gretsch 6071 is essentially the Bass companion model to their Tennessean model and also affectionately known as ‘The Monkees Bass’ thanks to the model's close association with Peter Tork of the Monkees. Strung up with flat wounds, this example's action is very comfortable along its thick neck. The single pickup gives you all the tone you need, and painted on F-holes help reduce feedback. And don't worry that knob isn't bent, flicking it up actually activates the mute between the bridge and pickup, although the foam could use some replacement.
Includes OHSC.
