Bill Tippin of Marblehead, Massachusetts is known for his elegant, refined, and powerful guitars. This pre-owned Forte is no exception to that rule, and it is a beautiful example of Bill's craftsmanship. The Forte is essentially an extension of his flagship model, the Crescendo, with the Forte being 3/16" wider in the lower bout. You might not think 3/16" of an inch would make that much difference, but it does. It retains the balanced tone of the Crescendo, but with more volume and power. And when crafted with "The Tree" mahogany and Alpine moon spruce, it delivers up a tone that is remarkable for its blend of warmth and clarity, dynamic range and balance. It simply sounds fabulous whether you're fingerpicking or strumming, with a nice sparkle in the high end to elevate it.

Fit and finish on this Forte are exquisite, with elegant African blackwood binding, abalone purfling on the top and fretboard and for the backstrip, and unusual white stone tuner knobs with blue veining. It also has a subtle soundport and seamless arm bevel for added comfort. Very minor signs of prior ownership are visible to the searching eye, but there's nothing specifically to note. Comes with a blue spackle Main Stage flight case.
