In the late '80s and early '90s, Squier looked to improve their brand's recognition and started producing guitars in their Korean factory with improved build quality and player friendly specs; namely the 12" fretboard radius like the popular Eric Johnson models. This particular example features that 12" radius and has upgraded vintage style tuners to compliment the '50s look. The tremolo has also been upgraded to a vintage style Fender bridge with a "Hi-Mass" tremolo block. The neck and middle pickup are grey bottom custom shop pickups and the bridge pickup remains original. It plays very comfortably with low action and sounds excellent.
Includes a hard shell case.
