The classic combination of an Adirondack Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides creates a dry and defined woody tone, with balanced projection and incredible sustain. The bass response is punchy and deep, while the trebles remain glassy and sweet. One can physically feel the deep resonance of this guitar while playing it. Paired with its Brazilian Rosewood binding, soft V neck profile, hide glue construction, lightweight body, and scalloped x-bracing, this Merrill OM-18 embodies the sound and feel that was previously only reserved for vintage instruments.
This guitar is in excellent condition, save for some minor finish checking on the top that can be caught in the right light, including several short lines on the lower bout, and a couple of longer lines elsewhere. Comes with original hard shell case.
