A gorgeous late 40s Martin, this D-28 is a wonderful dreadnought with unbelievably rich tone. Featuring hearty lows and bell-like highs, its sound is balanced and perfect for a singer-songwriter or bluegrass picker. Thanks to a recent neck set, its action is perfect and offers dreamy playability. Years of being played can take their toll on guitar components, and this has had some replaced parts including the pickguard, nut bridge, saddle, and bridge pins. It has also been refretted. These replacement parts have resulted in a sturdy and lovely-to-play guitar.
