This is pretty much a perfect example of the amp that many see as the grandfather of high gain. The first JCM800 labeled amps come with vertically oriented inputs, and by some strange mojo they seem to sound the best of any. This amp is no exception - it has everything you would want or expect out of the classic 2203 design. Thankfully, this amp is still 99% original, with the exception of one single screen grid resistor, which is understandable since they take more abuse than anything on the amp. The external condition shows signs of long term storage, but still looks great, with no significant blemishes of any kind. It should also be noted that listed separately is a full stack from 1981, all loaded with G12-65 speakers!
