This Hawthorn dreadnought is a fantastic sounding guitar with a really nice look. The Indian rosewood body and Sitka spruce top produce tones that can go toe-to-toe with any D-28. The use of a double top produces a strong top that is lighter than a traditional solid top, thus more resonant and responsive. The decorative purfling, golden Waverly tuners, and decorative inlays contribute to its stunning appearance. The back's endured some buckle rash while its previous player has been breaking it in, but it remains in solid shape, with a delightful tone.
