In 1968, Gibson revisited their magnum opus, the original Les Paul model, and never looked back. This shining Gold Top comes from that very year. It offers a vintage piece of history without the jaw dropping price tag that comes with a 50s version. It has had its original pickups replaced, and as a result required routing for Humbuckers. Additionally the pots and input jack have been replaced and the original tuners were subbed out for golden Grovers (the originals are included, but correct conversion bushing would be required to reinstall them).
