The J-100 XT made its debut around 1991, drawing inspiration from the late 1930s Gibson SJ-100 model. Featuring a Jumbo-sized body crafted with highly figured maple back and sides, coupled with a spruce top, it delivers a rich, expansive tone. Its three-piece maple neck is complemented by a rosewood fretboard, while the iconic mustache bridge is also crafted from rosewood. Offering a comfortable playing experience with low action, it's akin to an entry-level J-200 with a built-in pickup. With its exceptional sound quality and smooth playability, it epitomizes the classic Gibson Jumbo acoustic, ideal for both strumming and singer-songwriters alike.
This example is in excellent condition showing only minimal signs of wear including some finish checking, light surface scratches, and a few nicks here and there. This guitar is setup with comfortable action and is ready to go!
OHSC included.
