The iconic Firebird design was influenced by the tail-fins of 1950s automobiles, created as an exotic alternative to guitars available at the time as Gibson looked to exotic builds to differentiate themselves from the traditional styles on the market. This reissue is a beautiful example, with a striking Metallic Red finish. It is missing reflector sticker on volume knob and has several finish dings, but otherwise it looks, feels and sounds fantastic. Includes original hardshell case.
