A historic model with great playability! The ES-150 was one of the first "electric guitars". Originally they hosted the Charlie Christian pickup and then the P13 in the early 1940s. This one now hosts a modern '61 Gibson humbucker. There have been crack repairs done around the jack and f-hole, which is a common occurrence in this style of guitar. The top is solid carved Adirondack Spruce and the back and sides are solid Birdseye maple. The original frets are worn and some binding has been reglued, the tuners have also been replaced. Despite an update to the electronic components, the character and patina have been left in tact. The knobs are vintage 40's bakelite even!
Includes late 1940s brown Lifton style hardshell case
