The Super 400 is Gibson's long standing top-of-the-line guitar model. It takes the attention of a master craftsman to construct, and they have historically only been produced in low numbers. This particular example is a Gibson Custom Shop order from 2003 that was designed to be a cross between the traditional Super 400 and the thin body Chet Atkins Super 4000; the main carry over being the Chet Atkins floating humbucker pickup. The result is arguably one of the most ornate guitars ever produced by Gibson. The only non-stock modification is the addition of the name "Brent" to the truss rod cover. Included in the case is the production checklist and COA.
