This amp has the original power transformer and choke, with a replaced Ampeg OT-215 transformer (1960's). The grillcloth has been replaced with a dark red oxblood type. The circuit has changed electrolytic caps, but the rest of the circuit is mostly original, featuring the far more reliable "Blue Molded" Ajax Mallory caps, as opposed to Astrons. This results in having a far superior harmonic tremolo sound when compared to those amps with original Astron caps.
