Speaker(s): Period Appropriate Orange Frame JBL D130F
This is one of the rarest blackface era Fenders, as they were only produced in 1964. In conjunction with the infamous Orange Frame JBL D130F 15" speaker they carry a pronounced sonic footprint, separating themselves from the other mid-sized models, equipped with 10" & 12" speakers. This one has had some changes, but still maintains an accurate AB763 sound, having thankfully preserved the majority of the original circuit components. The baffle board and reverb tank have been changed, along with the cables going to the unit. Internally the power cord and electrolytic caps have been changed, along with the screen grids, one feedback resistor, in addition to the the feedback return cap. Some tremolo parts have been changed to service functionality, but otherwise the circuit is all stock. Aside from the FB return cap - all original "Blue Molded" Ajax coupling caps are still present, which is vital to blackface Fender sound. Some holes were added on the rear right side of the chassis, but have since been plugged and are hardly noticeable.
