The "Drip-Edge" era Fender amps mark the transition from mid 60's Blackface amps into the later Silverface era. As noted by the AB763 tube chart inside the cabinet this amp has retained all of the Blackface era circuitry. Most of the original "chocolate drop" coupling caps have been changed for modern types, but all of the original carbon comp resistors still remain. The power cord and electrolytic caps have been changed as well, along with a snubber cap being added to the power tubes, to help tame the top end. The amp looks to have endured moderate wear, but still looks very good other than a few scuffs, and a bit of gaff tape over the fuse holder, to secure it during travel. This thing certainly sounds and performs like a blackface amp, and is well complemented by the Eminence V128 speaker!
