This 1940s Epiphone Zephyr is an early electric guitar with several modifications to make it a really unique piece. The neck has been reset, and the finish has been removed resulting in lightning fast movement up and down the fretboard. The original P90 was replaced with a humbucker, and a neck humbucker was also installed, with a 3-way switch added to toggle between the two. Original tuners have been replaced with gold keystone style tuners. The body has aged nicely, with spots of player wear. 2 cracks have been repaired on either side of the neck heel. These modifications have resulted in a versatile and distinctive instrument that can cover a lot of sonic territory.
