Although the body style changed over time to offer an alternative to the LP Junior, eventually Epiphone landed near the thinner bodied Coronet with 6-on-a-side tuners and a batwing headstock. This guitar has a killer original P90 and a good level of wear. The frets have some life in them and the body has a few holes where a previous owner drilled for some strap buttons. Even though a cheaper alternative to the Les Paul Junior at the time, Coronets easily hold their own decades and decades later. At nearly 60 years old this guitar has been played well and has a slim repair history with only headstock overspray and replaced knobs.
