This rare and exciting build by archtop builder Ryan Thorell is sure to please with superb acoustic tone excellent playability and a lush huge amplified sound. Based on the beauty of the original body design and acoustic tone of Lloyd Loar with a flair for modern playability and a built in humbucker sized Charlie Christian pickup. The electronics are hidden in an easy accessible under pickguard mount shielded box made of ebony. The rare and highly figured Eastern Yellow Birch was hand split and has just the most lovely tone and strength.
It is in excellent condition with just some fairly normal lacquer shrinking and crazing. Frets are in excellent shape. Finish is very clean. Dark, rich, velvety, and woody tone with a quick response and lots of headroom. Acoustic neck plays fast and feels fantastic.
