Hand crafted with a flamed set of Black Limba with wonderful figuring and contrasting stripes paired with a clean and tight grained Engelmann Spruce top with Macassar Ebony fluted arm bevel and bindings, Paua Abalone Pearl top purfling, fretboard inlays, Macassar Ebony and Abalone Pearl mosaic multi-ring rosette and more.

Black Limba, otherwise know as Korina, is a wonderful tonewood that some of the most prized and popular guitars in history were made from, including Gibson bodies from the late 50’s. Harvested in West Africa, this responsive tonewood is slightly lighter weight than African Mahogany and has a responsive resonance and clarity that pairs perfectly with Engelmann Spruce making this a very versatile guitar excelling for fingerstyle.

The Paradiso is the contemporary update to Ryan’s original Mission model – famous for its sweet trebles and even sustain with balanced string-to-string clarity and separation and consistent, clear articulation up and down the fretboard. The longer 25.7″ scale and comfortable body size make this perfectly suited for fingerstyle, single-note lead, light strumming, jazz, and singer/songwriter style as well as drop and alternate tunings.
