Kevin Muiderman first crafted his Loar LO-16 at the behest of Leo Kottke, who loved the small size of an old vintage model he owned but wanted something with more volume and a full tone. Since then, it's become one of Kevin's more popular models, played also by Michael Chapdelaine among others. He achieves incredible response, power, and stability through the use of ultra-lightweight tops supported by composite bracing, exactly constructed to achieve the tone he (or the player) wants. Figured Engelmann spruce is paired with beautifully striped and aptly named zebrawood on this Loar LO-16. A subtle 'burst and Kevin's signature mosaic rosette add the final touch.
