0000s, wide like a dreadnought but slim like an OM, offer up a unique playing experience. As you might expect, there's the focus and clarity of a mid-sized guitar, but with the bass and commanding power of a larger one. Though Kevin Muiderman has built 0000s before, this 2023 0000 is a new iteration of the design, taking elements from the jumbo he developed for guitarist Willy Porter and built with an ultra-lightweight solid (rather than double) top, supported with composite bracing.

Tiger-striped bearclaw Sitka spruce is paired with a striking set of Brazilian rosewood. This guitar pivots seamlessly from articulate fingerstyle playing to powerful strumming, with excellent clarity and a huge bass that supports drop tunings. When asked which guitar he'd build and keep for himself, this is the one!
