A fantastic sounding and playing pre-war 000-18. This was one of only four 000-18's made in 1936 with a shade top; it's original finish is intact with heavy playwear around the pickguard, on the lower bout bass side, and on the back of the neck. Some repairs and modifications to note are a previous neck set and refret, a bridge reglue and an added bridge plate saver, and cleated cracks under the pickguard and fingerboard extension, behind the low E string running from the bridge to the tailblock, and on the bass side of the back. It also has a new nut and saddle, and period correct Kluson tuners. Includes a Hoffee case.
