This is a fantastic Kay Jazz Special Bass, made in the USA in 1960. This model is a unique design that is very attractive. It shows play wear but it is in nice shape for its age. All of the parts are original except for the bridge cover. It must have had a neck pickup cover added at some point as well as there are a few filled screw holes in the pickguard. Aside from this it is all original. The bass has a large profile neck that is fun to play, and it is in excellent playing condition. It comes with a non original hard case.
