Ohio-based builder Jeff Jewitt reworked his 00 to have the balance and fullness of a bigger guitar while retaining the comfort of the smaller 00 shape and the easy feel of the shorter 24.9" scale. The lower bout is more rounded and a little fuller, which adds bass and overall output. If you love the balance and stability of Indian rosewood but have always envied that Braz figuring, this one is for you. Nicknamed "Swirl", Jeff found a gorgeously figured set of Indian rosewood and paired it with straight-grained Italian spruce. It's a classic 28-style combo, with the right mix of warmth, dryness, and modest overtones for serious versatility. But with luthier-built refinement, premium tonewoods, and Jeff's unique touch, it has its own voice. Each and every register rings out in equal measure with even clarity, and the playability of the C shape neck and comfortable body size couldn't be better.
