This 1946 Gibson J-45 is an extremely rare mahogany top model with incredible vintage acoustic tone. Very few were made with these specs in 1946, and this one has been thoughtfully reported by our team here at Carter Vintage to ensure it's ready to go for decades to come. Notable repairs include a neck reset, bridge reglue, and refret - for a full list of repairs check out the specs tab. Its neck is a comfortable U shape, definitely sizable but not quite to baseball bat territory like some of these 40s guitars. It's nice and agedc cross the board with beautiful finish checking and a worn-in neck. Enjoy all the beauty a golden era Gibson has to offer with this J-45.
