Gibson ES-330TD in factory sunburst finish made in 1963 with original Lifton hardshell case. This classic guitar features a fully hollow maple body with a maple top, one-piece mahogany neck and brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with the original P-90 pickups with nickel plated covers, black beauty caps and original pots dating to 1963 with 2-volume, 2-tone controls and original 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75″ scale length neck has small block inlays inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets with a slender “C”-shaped neck profile. The hardware is comprised of original Kluson deluxe single-line tuning machines, a nylon nut, a nickel Abr-1 bridge with nylon saddles & foundry mark, and gold reflector cap knobs knobs with a 5-ply black/white pick-guard.
This guitar is in excellent condition for its age, however there are some minor dings, surface scratches, and natural wear (see photos). The original frets still have plenty of life left, and the hardware and electronics and in perfect working order. Two of the original knobs have had the “Volume” and “Tone” insert scripts faded. This guitar plays and sounds incredible! The original finish is still very vibrant and has no overspray.
This guitar is 100% original with the exception of one bridge mounting set-screw but the original nylon saddles remain and the guitar otherwise a complete and a fine example of a collector’s grade 1963 ES-330. Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 10-46 strings and includes original Lifton black hardshell case with gold plush interior and “large pebble” textured exterior.
