This Fender Stratocaster was made in the USA in 1962. It has an original Olympic White finish, which appears to be a very early factory refinish as it has large factory numbers on both body and neck. The finish work is clearly factory and utilizes the nail hole patters that was phased out after 1963 indicating this guitar was finished by Fender no later than 1963 or maybe early 1964. Aside from the large numbers there is no evidence that this guitar was ever finished. All the parts are original except for the nut and it has been refretted. It weighs 7 lbs 4 oz. It is in very good condition with just some normal light play wear. It has been pro-setup in our store and it comes with the original case.
