This is a fantastic playing and sounding Fender Stratocaster that was made in the USA in 1961. It is an extremely resonant instrument weighing 7 pounds and 5 ounces. There are a few changed parts. The tuners are kluson repros and the guitar had mini schallers and there is some visible damage to the front of the headstock around some of the tuner shafts. The bridge pickup is original but the neck and middle appear slightly newer. Two of the pots are original but one is changed. the plastic parts and other hard ware are original. There is no routing under the guard but there is shielding paint in the cavities. There is also a filled extra string tree hole in the face of the headstock. This guitar has been pro-setup and plays great. The original sunburst finish looks awesome with lots of natural wear. It comes with a late 70s Strat/Tele hard case.
