This Fender Pro Reverb is a transition-era piece, built just after the Blackface amps were updated to the new design. In addition to the "drip-edge" aesthetics, this amp features the black line on the faceplate, marking it as one of the very first transition models. It looks excellent for its age, with minimal signs of previous wear.
Internally, the power cord has been replaced, along with the filter caps and power resistors. On the preamp side, only a single tremolo electrolytic cap has been changed, but everything else is stock. This amp benefits from being 100% Blackface under the hood, including the famous "Blue Molded" coupling caps that were phased out later in the year. This is an incredible deal on a 60s-era Fender!
