Hand-carved from solid spruce and maple, this 2011 Eastman MD515 offers a balanced, articulate tone that’s right at home across a range of mandolin styles. The ivoroid binding and satin sunburst finish give it a classic look that’s both understated and inviting. Its comfortable neck profile and clean fretwork make it an easy player with dependable intonation. Lightly played and well maintained, this example has opened up nicely over time, showing the care and quality Eastman builds are known for.
