Pre-War Guitar Company D Left Handed New
The Pre-War Guitar Company of Hillsborough, NC are producing guitars that capture the look, feel, and most importantly, the sound of vintage acoustics. These guitars are crafted with the highest quality woods to vintage spec and then are aged to give them an old look to match their old sound.
This particular dreadnought was built with a torrefied Adirondack spruce top over a Honduran mahogany back and sides. Torrefaction is a process used to artificially age the wood by baking it in an oxygen free environment. This process makes the wood lighter and stiffer which improves the instruments responsiveness and projection. The guitar also features a Gabor ebony fingerboard, a bone nut and saddle, and a level 3 distressing.
