Powerful, lush, dynamic; a sound that can only come from a prewar D-28! With a rich low end and ringing clear trebles, this '38 is as good as it gets! This guitar was was owned by Martin historian, Mike Longworth and was pictured in the Martin 1833/1983 catalog.

With the exception of a replaced bridgeplate, the guitar is all original. The width of the nut measures close to 1 3/4" but the fingerboard at the nut is slightly rounded measures right at 1 23/32". The guitar has a forward shifted x. There's a small 2" crack on the bass rim near the waist. Comes with the original hard case, a copy of the 1833/1983 catalog and a letter from Longworth.

Carter Vintage Guitars is not responsible for any return shipping costs. Items returned outside of the approval period window will be subject to a restocking fee (up to 15%). Items must be returned in the same condition as they left the store. New items must be returned with any and all factory packaging that was included with the product.

Refunds will be applied via the same method of payment used at the time of purchase. Returns can take 5 to 10 business to show back up onto your bank statement.
