This pre-war 0-17 is well worn but still a fantastic player with that classic all-mahogany Martin sound. It has a few repaired top and back cracks, been entirely refinished in a satin sunburst and is housing a replaced bridge plate, bridge, saddle, and nut. Despite the numerous repairs and modifications you could expect in a nearly 100-year old guitar, this piece is still very much alive. The neck has recently been reset, a necessary maintenance to improve playability and intonation. This example shows some typical dings and finish scrapes from general use.
