Richie Valens, best known for his hit song "La Bamba" and for being a staple in the Chicano Rock movement, became a very big part of music history in a very short time. Passing in a plane crash along with Buddy Holly and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson, he left a short but impactful legacy.

The story goes that he took his guitar to shop class, sanded it down into a smaller body and repainted it green, making what you see now. This reissue of that guitar is in great condition with no fret wear to note and is a rare and unique guitar for the collection! It is currently set up with flat wounds and medium action for both fretting and slide.

Includes a soft bag.
