In 2008, master builder Stephen Stern crafted the Gretsch G6120 Chet Atkins 125th Anniversary model to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of Gretsch’s founding. Being one of only 25, this G6120 is truly something to behold. Loosely based on the renowned 6120-1959LTV, the 125th Anniversary model features a transparent western orange lacquer over real gold leaf. Matched with its gold-plated hardware, this G6120 is a truly elegant instrument. The TV Jones Classic pickups dish out the legendary rockabilly sound Gretsch is known for. When paired with its B6CG V-cut Bigsby trem, one is able to coax a plethora of timeless tones out of this instrument. For players and collectors alike, this Gretsch G6120 Chet Atkins 125th Anniversary is nothing short of spectacular.
