The SG Special, Gibson's stripped down version of the classic design, was the model that Pete Townshend (The Who) used exclusively on stage from mid-late 1968 until 1971. In 2012, for the 50th Anniversary of Gibson's SG, they released a limited run of Pete Townshend's signature model in this alpine white finish. This example is in great condition, with only some minor checking on the front and back, a small (repaired) crack on the back of the headstock, and was previously owned by Joe Hottinger, guitarist in the American rock band Halestorm. Some general specs include: 1 11/16" nut width, 12" Radius, Alnico V P-90s, and a Rosewood fingerboard. It comes with the Original Hard Case
