Gibson, Orville F c1899
A rare piece of American musical instrument history! Orville Gibson began building mandolins in the 1890s, making this one of the earliest examples. Like many of Orville's instruments, this mandolin features a carved top, back and sides along with beautiful ornate inlay work on top and peghead.
The tailpiece and several pieces of pearl border have been replaced. Comes with a padded gig bag.
