Gibson Les Paul Custom 1957

Product Code: GS2995

$ 65,000.00

 First unveiled at the July NAMM show in 1954, the Les Paul Custom was Gibsons attempt to add a fancier solid body electric to the line. Borrowing from the high-end archtops, the Les Paul Custom featured a split-diamond pearl headstock and an alnico 5 pickup in the neck. In mid '57, the model transitioned to having 3-humbucking pickups.

This particular example of a '57 Custom is in excellent overall condition. The guitar retains all 3 of its original PAFs. The Bigsby has been replaced (period correct). Previously owned by John Osborne of the Brothers Osborne. Comes with the original hard case and a letter from John.
