With its elegant lines and Ebony/Pearl/Gold aesthetic, the Les Paul Custom (nicknamed The Black Beauty) is easily one of the most iconic and beautiful guitars ever made. It features a body carved out of mahogany and a maple top. The resulting dark mid-range tone from the body pairs perfectly with its bright-sounding solid ebony fingerboard. All together, it was a pinnacle of guitar craftsmanship, design and tone.

A current shop favorite, this particular example has killer, vintage vibes all over it. It is in mostly original condition, with the exception of its tuners, which are Grover Imperials, a removed Bigbsy (leaving a handful of tiny unplugged holes in the top), a refret, and a replaced switch tip. The playwear and heavy aging on this guitar give it its real charm. The buckle rash on the back and playwear on the neck are both through the finish, which we'd say is always a good sign. Certainly not your "case queen," this guitar has some stories. It includes its original hard case, as well as a modern, protective Gator case.
