First introduced in 1922, the Gibson L-5 was created by the legendary sound engineer Lloyd Loar. This f-hole archtop became the most celebrated jazz guitar ever produced. This particular example was made in the first year Gibson produced the L-5 with the "advanced" 17" body.

The guitar was refinished, refretted, and had the tuners replaced by Gibson in c1958. A floating DeArmond pickup has also been installed. Comes with a 1950s brown/pink hard case.
