Product Code: GF3343
Gibson offered small-bodied L-series archtop guitars from the company's founding in 1902. Flat-top L-models appeared in 1926 with the same 13.5" body width and circular lower bout as their archtop counterparts. This all-mahogany L-0 from the late '20s has a light, punchy and woody sound. It is in overall good condition, though with some minor repairs and modifications.
The only replaced elements include its bridge and saddle. There is also an added lateral brace beneath the bridge for top stability. As you can tell from the glossier finish, this example has been entirely oversprayed and buffed. The neck has recently been reset, a necessary maintenance for playability. Overall, there is a moderate amount of pick wear and general scuffs, dings, and scratches in the finish.
