The new Big Block cavity leaves more wood in the pickup cavities giving you enhanced resonance and tone. Gibson Custom paid just as much attention to the Gibson Custom Lee Roy Parnell Les Paul's electronics as they did to its aesthetics. Beginning with vintage CTS potentiometers and NOS capacitors, every part of its internal signal path is designed to give you absolutely dead-on vintage Les Paul tone. Of course, it's next to impossible to find genuine '50s PAFs (even for Gibson). Instead, the Lee Roy Parnell Les Paul sports a pair of Ron Ellis custom-wound humbuckers with PAF attitude and a little extra punch. You just won't find another Les Paul that comes as close to the look, sound, and feel of the Gibson Custom Lee Roy Parnell Signature '57 Les Paul!
